QuickBooks
As Approved by Intuit, QuickBooks Online: Comprehensive meets all the objectives of the QuickBooks Certified User exam. It provides essential coverage of the app for employees, company owners, accountants, and others who wish to effectively use the software for their small-business accounting needs.
The course also includes introductory accounting concepts and how to complete the key financial statements. The course content covers all objectives associated with the Intuit Certified Bookkeeping Professional exam administered by Certiport. If you will be seeking certification, you can use this learning content to help you prepare.
Program Overview:
You will begin with the first three (3) chapters of Accounting Essentials to familiarize yourself with basic accounting terms and procedures. Then you will work on the entire QuickBooks online program, and prepare for the QuickBooks certification exam. Following that, you will return to the Accounting Essentials to complete the rest of that online program which will prepare you for the Accounting certification exam.
Class Meetings
We will be meeting for eight (8) weeks, every Monday and Wednesday, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. That will provide you with approximately 48 hours of in-class, face-to-face time with your instructor.
Independent Classwork
You will be expected to put in an estimated 54 hours of independent on-line work outside of the regular class hours over the eight-week program. You will be held accountable to this independent work to complete the program.Next Class Start Date: January 13, 2025
